Bites in Madison Social Media Campaign:
Bites in Madison is a student-focused digital food and restaurant campaign developed for LSC 432, highlighting Madison’s dining culture through short-form video and strategic storytelling. I built the brand from the ground up, including identity, content pillars, and a platform-specific posting strategy targeting UW-Madison students. The project involved audience research, competitive analysis, and maintaining a consistent, visually cohesive brand voice across Instagram and TikTok. By combining creative production with intentional strategy, I transformed everyday dining experiences into engaging, shareable content designed to drive community engagement and brand recognition. This work demonstrates my ability to integrate analytical thinking with creative execution in digital marketing and communications.
UW-Madison Center for Law, Society and Justice - Digital Orientation Module
As a Communications Projects Intern, I developed a digital orientation module designed to introduce prospective students to the program and guide them through key academic opportunities. I organized and translated complex program information into clear, engaging content for an online format, including producing a comprehensive orientation video to walk students through the experience. I collaborated with faculty and program leadership to shape the module’s structure, messaging, and visuals, ensuring it was accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with program goals. This project strengthened my skills in digital content development, strategic messaging, and project coordination while contributing to a resource that supports student engagement and onboarding.

Great Lakes Ice Safety Data Visualization
As part of a design project in LSC 350 in partnership with NOAA, I developed an informational infographic focused on ice safety for Great Lakes anglers using data from the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory. The project centered on translating complex ice coverage data into a clear, visually engaging format to help users better understand changing conditions and make safer decisions. I analyzed historical ice trends, selected key data points, and transformed them into accessible visualizations, including bar graphs and line charts. By applying core design principles, we structured the content to guide viewers through the information and highlight critical safety insights. The final product integrated data visualization, iconography, and narrative storytelling to effectively communicate the risks associated with declining ice coverage.
The Badger Herald - Associate Science Editor & Writer
As a Science Writer and Associate Editor, I reported on university research and scientific topics, conducting interviews with faculty and subject-matter experts to produce clear, student-centered articles under tight deadlines. I translated complex research into accessible, engaging stories while maintaining accuracy and nuance. In my editorial role, I pitched story ideas, edited submissions for clarity and structure, and helped oversee the publishing process to ensure consistency and quality across the section. Balancing reporting with editorial leadership strengthened my ability to think critically about messaging, audience needs, and content strategy in a fast-paced media environment.
University Bookstore Strategic Recommendations Project
As part of a collaborative consulting project, I developed strategic recommendations for the University Bookstore focused on improving employee engagement, workplace culture, and training effectiveness. Using internal data and course frameworks, our team analyzed key organizational challenges and translated findings into actionable recommendations, including enhancing transparency, strengthening employee relations, and implementing more structured training programs.

I contributed to synthesizing research into clear, presentation-ready insights and helped design a cohesive set of recommendations supported by evidence and practical action steps. This included proposing initiatives such as continuous feedback systems, cross-training opportunities, and the integration of applied learning models to improve employee development. The final deliverable combined strategic analysis, organizational communication, and visual presentation to provide a clear roadmap for improving internal operations and employee experience.
